CHiPS

In connection with Camp Romper, BDG Media, Inc. will donate $5,000 to CHiPS. CHiPS is a non-profit organization that’s been serving the homeless and hungry of Park Slope, Gowanus, and surrounding neighborhoods since 1971. Starting in the late 1990s, CHiPS opened the Frances Residence, transitional apartments for young, homeless mothers and their infants. Since then, 200 4th Avenue has been an invaluable resource for the most vulnerable members of the community. It’s all thanks to almost exclusive funding from individual and private donors, and the work of volunteers, that CHiPS keeps its doors open.

Prospect Park Alliance

Camp Romper is a proud supporter of Prospect Park Alliance, the non-profit organization that sustains, restores and advances Prospect Park, Brooklyn's Backyard, in partnership with the City. The Alliance provides critical staff and resources that keep the park green and vibrant for the diverse communities that call Brooklyn home, and free nature and recreation programs to thousands of families and children every year. Learn more at www.prospectpark.org.

Thank you to our sponsors!

FAQs

Do I need to print out my ticket?

We strongly encourage printing your ticket to avoid waiting in line.

What if I can’t find my ticket?

Check your spam folder. They have a sneaky way of slipping in there.

Can I bring my own food and / or drink?

No outside food or drink will be permitted at the venue, with the exception of milk, formula and baby food.

Can I come and go as I please?

You sure can! As long as you're wearing your wristband, you can enter and exit the venue at your leisure. But if there's a line to get back in, you will have to wait in it.

How do I get to the venue?

You can take the Q, B, or S train to Prospect Park or the 2,3 to Grand Army Plaza. We recommend entering the park at the Lincoln Road / East Lake Drive entrance.

What's included with my ticket?

You'll enjoy access to the whole event including performances, yoga, and all of the sponsor and Romper activations, as well as complimentary roller skating and boat rentals.

What happens if it rains?

Then we'll dance in the rain! The event is rain or shine.

Is smoking permitted in the venue?

The venue is non-smoking. If you want to smoke, you will need to exit Prospect Park. You'll be re-admitted as long as you're wearing your wristband.

Do I need to bring cash?

Nope! This is a cashless event.

Where can I pump?

No worries, mama! We've got you covered with a cozy little pumping nook near the roller rink bathrooms.

Can I bring my stroller?

We can park strollers and scooters at our stroller parking area. Bicycles must be parked at designated bike racks in the park. BDG Media, Inc., the venue and our event sponsors are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
